
Expect temperatures to be 70s to upper 80s during the day, and 50s to 60s at night. Will it rain? Almost certainly at some point during Camp. There are large umbrellas available for our use.
Music Gear
- Instrument, strap, cords, extra strings, picks, tuner, drum sticks, etc.
- Extra batteries for instruments with active electronics.
- Any sheet music you may need for performances.
- Writing utensils and paper for taking notes.
- Ear plugs.
Clothing and Accessories
- Layers! It gets chilly at night.
- Light weight rain jacket.
- Bathing suit – we have a heated pool and hot tub.
- Comfy walking shoes.
- Sandals – handy for walking to / from the pool or showers.
- Sun glasses / sun hat / sunscreen.
- Personal toiletries.
- Bug repellent.
- Tent campers: Bring you own tent, sleeping bag, and towels.
- Pre-set tent campers: Your pre-set tent includes a queen size memory foam mattress pad, air conditioner, heater and outlet. These tents do NOT include any other furnishings or bedding. You must supply bedding and towels. There are nearby deluxe multi-stall bathroom / shower trailer and private outdoor showers.
Smart Stuff
- Chargers and cables for your phone and other electronics.
- Flashlight.
- Water bottle.
- Bluetooth speaker – handy for listening to music and rehearsing with your Roadhouse bandmates.
- Binoculars – if you are into critter watching. There are plenty of critters!
- Poster tube – you will receive a poster at Camp.
- Frisbee / nerf football / other outdoor casual sports gizmos – there will be plenty of flying objects on the lawn in front of the main building. Bring your own or just join in the mayhem!
- Alcohol – remember that you are only permitted to consume your own alcohol INSIDE YOUR ACCOMMODATION and of course only if you are 21+.
Oh. You’re an ubernerd? Consider the following
- Camera.
- GoPro / tripod.
- Tripod for your iPhone.
Keep in mind that all performances at the Roadhouse and Jazz Jam will be captured on video with multitrack audio. These performance videos will be available shortly after Camp at no charge.
There will be a number of people at Camp with professional DSLR cameras, and they will be taking photos throughout the week. Again, these photos will be made available shortly after Camp at no charge.
