Carpools
We love to carpool. It’s more fun. It’s better for the planet. It’s also pretty informal so use the following opportunities to share rides.
- Carpoools from the NY / NJ area can be coordinated by campers via the TOAPP Happy Campers Facebook group where schedules may be voluntarily shared.
- Carpools between Kingston and Big Indian are often coordinated at the Pre-Camp Dinner. This is a good opportunity to let it be known if you would like to offer carpool space, or need a ride.
- If you plan to stay at the Best Western Kington on Friday August 7 in order attend the Public Bearsville Concert that night, you are likely to find opportunities for carpooling if you ask around.
Best Western Kingston

Many campers stay at the Best Western Kingston on the nights before / after camp. It’s also where we have our Pre-Camp Dinner.
PRO TIP: there are other, less expensive hotel / motel lodging options in Kingston. Most seasoned Campers have found them to not be worth the savings.
Our amazing camper Rebekah Michaels has negotiated a discount rate for TOAPP Campers. Use this URL to book your room, noting that you will have to adjust the beginning / end dates.
Information about the Pre-Camp Dinner
- The Pre-Camp Dinner is not included in your TOAPP Camp fees. To register for this dinner, please follow this guidance from Rebekah:

- #2: Please make your payment to “Friends and Family” NOT “Goods and Services”.
- #3: We only use Venmo and PayPal – no cash, please.
- #4: Please make your payment to “Friends and Family” NOT “Goods and Services” – we make no profit from this.
- #5: I will keep track of who paid and how much. I will send a response to your payment as conformation of your payment being processed.
- #6: Please make your payment to “Friends and Family” NOT “Goods and Services”.
- Send $60 Friends & Family to:
- Venmo: @Rebekah-Michaels-1 (and if Venmo asks for last four of my phone number, it is “8950”).
- PayPal: @RebekahMichaels with “About” being the TOAPP Camp Dinner.
- The Best Western has a buffet breakfast but it is no longer complementary. As of this year, they are charging $16.50 per person for the buffet. You will find other dining options in Kingston.
Full Moon Resort

TOAPP Camp is held at Full Moon Resort
PRO TIP: You will lose GPS signal before reaching the resort. If this is your first TOAPP Camp, either download the map to your phone, or print directions and navigate like a pirate.
- Full Moon Resort is located at 1 Valley View Road, Big Indian, NY 12410.
- This is in the Catskill Forest Preserve, surrounded by streams, mountains and fields.
- The Roadhouse is an on-site venue where we gather to perform in the evenings. It has a full bar, and a backline of amps / keyboards / drums. All performances at the Roadhouse are recorded on video and will be made available after camp.
- The Dining Pavilion is where we enjoy our meals, and it’s also where the Jazz Jam will be held. Like the Roadhouse, it has a bar, there will be backline with amps / keyboards / drums, and all performances will be recorded on video.
- All accommodations at Full Moon Resort are equipped with Air Conditioning and WiFi.
- A single room “refresher” (towel replacement and garbage removal) will occur on Wednesday August 5. If you do not want this service, or need your room refreshed at any time, please contact the Front Desk.
- There is NO cell phone reception at Full Moon Resort.
Post-Camp Concert at Bearsville Theater

There will be a special post-camp concert at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on Friday August 7
Your 2026 TOAPP Camp laminate will get you for free
